The year 2024 marked a major milestone for Austrian Pickleball: for the first time ever, the Pickleball Federation Austria (PFA) established a national team and successfully sent it to the Team European Championship in Southampton. Now, we are looking ahead to 2025 with excitement, as we aim to compete with a strong national team once again – and YOU can be part of it!

Competitions & Opportunities
In 2025, the national team will not only compete at the Team European Championship but also take part in other prestigious international team events. Stay tuned for the schedule!
The national team roster will be divided into the following age categories:
- Open (all age groups): 10 spots
- Seniors (50+): 10 spots
- Juniors (18 and under): 5 spots
Who Can Join?
The PFA is looking for dedicated players to represent Austria with pride. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:
- Acknowledge the PFA as the sole governing body for Pickleball in Austria.
- Be a member of a PFA-affiliated club.
- Have a DUPR rating of 3.5 or higher (excluding juniors).
- Hold Austrian citizenship or have been a registered resident of Austria for at least six months.
- Actively contribute to the development of Pickleball in Austria.
