General information:
- Warm-up is possible on Friday, June 28th from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. and Saturday, June 29th and Sunday, June 30th from 9 a.m.
- We will also create space for spectators at the courts.
- Please leave your bags in the designated area on Court 10 and only take a water bottle and towel with you to your games so that your freedom of movement is not restricted.
- For 15 euros per person you can use the pool and sauna at the Vienna Sporthotel. Payment at reception.
- Food you have brought with you may not be consumed in the restaurant or at the pool.
- The tournament management does not provide food or drinks.
Junior doubles:
The game will be played in round robin mode.
Mixed doubles:
The draw was made on June 26th at the Sporthotel. 14 pairs have registered. A 16-player grid will be used, the top 2 pairs will have a bye in round 1. The mixed doubles will start on Saturday at 12 noon. The matches will be played in parallel on 5 courts. Each pair will play at least two matches, probably even three or four.
Players Party:
On Saturday June 29, 2024 from 7 p.m. we have organized a Players Party for you at the Brunnenmarkt in Vienna-Ottakring. Celebrate with other pickleball enthusiasts at the Garbanzo snack stand (Brunnengasse 70, Brunnenmarkt stand 112 – Google Maps) DJ Voltmarie will provide musical accompaniment. All ÖM participants will receive a voucher for a free drink. Vegetarian and vegan street food will be sold as usual.
Information about the matches:
All main draw matches will be played best of 3 sets up to 11 points, win by 2. Each team has one timeout per set.
Please note: According to the PFA competition rules, all participants are obliged to act as referees if they are asked to do so by the tournament management. All center court matches should be played with a referee. Referees’ main task is to record the score and report foot faults when entering the non-volley zone.
