What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a fun sport that combines elements of table tennis, badminton and tennis. It is played both outdoors and indoors on a badminton-sized court with a net. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials like carbon fiber to hit a perforated polymer ball over a net.
Where can I Play Pickleball?
To find a venue where you can play Pickleball in Austria, visit this site. Or join one of our member clubs to get involved with other people playing Pickleball. For Pickleball beside paddles and balls no special equipment is required and any comfortable clothing is fine. Trainers / tennis shoes are recommended. When played on indoor badminton courts or on wooden gym floors, non marking soles are mandatory.
Where can I Get Equipment?
For now in Austria you can rent Pickleball paddles and balls and sometimes buy them at the Pickleball venues. We will inform you about further developments in Austria.
